I didn't visit the Tower until quite late in life, and I really enjoyed it The Crown Jewels are worth some queuing to see - 2 hours is pushing it a bit, though. I'd expect a UN aid parcel handout for that level of commitment.
And the Yeomen Warders (to give them their proper name) are quite deliberately provocative during tours - it's all part of the fun! Americans are just a soft target

I was there when I was about 5 years old. And you know what I remember? The moving walkways. I think I was impressed.

I've seen some recent videos, Icy, and that seems to sum it up nicely. Some of the performances are very professional.
Back then, I don't think they were giving tours, though I may be wrong. Or maybe it was because it was very cold, and there weren't any tour groups around. This guy was just sitting around out of the cold.
That might have been 'fun' for him, but it wasn't for me, and there was no one else there to applaud him, so I'd brand the effort an epic fail.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
