Freebie Listening Tip: Meet the Real MIBs

Here's an entertaining freebie for you:
The really, true story of the Men in Black, as told by John Keel, of 'Mothman Prophecies' fame.

You want Track 3.
I'm on the trail of Albert K Bender, the man who in 1953 wanted us all to think about 'calling occupants of interplanetary craft'. I was just past my first birthday then, and I wish I'd known about it. I would have tried to help. Somehow, my parents neglected to tell me about the experiment, though. Probably afraid I'd 'talk their ears off'.
Anyway, Mr Keel has some hilarious MIB tales to share.
One gathers that they are a bunch of incompetent interplanetary spies. Dressed in out-of-date clothes. Not sure what to do with Jello. (Hint, guys: few foreigners are.) Determined to fake out innocent people, but not very good at it.
Track 5 is pretty good, too. The aliens pretending to be door-to-door evangelists...priceless.
John Keel says they used to drive black Cadillacs, until he outed them. Then they took to driving around West Virginia in Volkswagens. I don't know what they're doing in West Virginia - unless they like moonshine.
Personally, I've always thought these folks were just alien practical jokers...but according to these long-time experts, the REAL MIB story is a lot more like 'Third Rock from the Sun' than anyone could ever imagine.
Enjoy!

3.52 am.
Just been listening to Track 3. I love the strange almost-music behind the voice.
What?????
(drinks Spanish brandy)
What??? again.
Thinks about jello and black cadillacs, and many other things. What's with the clothing? Courtesy of some retro vintage clothing store? Who supplies the black cadillacs? Somewhere there's a garage owner who knows all...
Right. 4 am. Will sleep be impossible? Yes! I might have to listen to all the other tracks to take me through till dawn.
How extraordinary .....
Key: Complain about this post
