I've only read the title and the first sentence, but may I suggest you amend the title to "Super Furry Animals - the Band" as I was expecting something quite different

I'm from North Wales and Tourist's always used to ask me to say Llanfairpwllgwyn... out loud. The follow-up was always "So what does it mean?" which I never could remember.

I'm not the only one here who is a great fan of (relevant) links - and if you can link to other h2g2 entries (edited only, I'm afraid) that's all the better.

Also, although I'd already heard of them - I have no idea how they sound. Are they metal? hip-hop? folk? (much as I hate comparisons, when I try new bands a little comparison helps me a lot)

Now that I've given this a proper read-through, I have more suggestions for you:

Also, while it may be pictured on the single released where you live, if it was released internationally it's quite possible that different locations (or even later releases) will have different cover art.

the internationally feted creator for his Monsterism creations. >> is there a better way to say this? Creator of creations sounds redundant.

much to Gruff's confusion as he collected the award >> was he confused? or was he astonished?

with fans from these countries word-perfect on the Welsh songs. >> what does this mean?

the band released the single Juxtaposed With U too much publicity. >> this doesn't make sense, is there something missing?

which would regularly appear during the bands gigs during the encores. >> could this be reworded to avoid using 'during' twice? (which would later make regular appearances onstage duing the band's encores. (suggestion))

They also sponsored Cardiff City Football Club this year--> is this 2006 or 1999? A little unclear here.

I've altered the text accordingly but to clarify, Radiator was their second album overall. I think you're counting EP releases as albums, unless you know something that I don't. I found a wikipedia entry on the difference here:
