erm...actually not necessarily LW - there are several threads where posts ae missing - I think its due to servers being down, and the whole system being on the fritz....

Kitush, thank you for the clarification on the missing posts, it does seem that the servers where down for a long period yesterday and I guess some postings made coming up to the point when they "crashed" may have been lossed. Not that Im implying they crashed due to LW@S over use of the yikes button and the number of his postings waiting moderation, but as has already been said if he would wait until a post appears before shooting another one off it would make things a lot simpler for others including the hard pressed moderators who have enough to do Im sure paticularly at the weekend! Of course LW what you forget is a yikesed post does not just simple disappear from the site, it is sent for moderation and if the moderators feel it is in fact compliant with the site rules is restored in it's entirity. I speak from experience of this as I had a post yikesed yesterday which is now back. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F2095977?thread=1741633&post=20227962#p20227962 post 3 is the one) What you also choose to forget is the yikes button is there for a purpose and its usage willy nilly is against house rules, need I say more?

LW here is the definition of spamming and flooding used on H2G2, you obviously are unaware of what either are based on your postings:
No spamming or flooding. On h2g2, spamming is the posting of the same (or very similar) messages to lots of forums. Flooding is when the same (or very similar) message is posted over and over again to the same conversation. It's especially antisocial if it's off-topic for those forums. So please don't deliberately send the same message, or very similar messages, to loads of different Conversation Forums, or post the same message to one Conversation multiple times. We'll simply remove your Postings, and possibly your account.
