Today, I was walking past a visitor at work and heard him talking on his mobile.

He said "...but you need to make it sufficiently clear to him that I have things to put in the car, too. I have my suitcase, and the dog, and a ewe and two lambs, but if we squeeze up a bit, there should be room for him and his trombone..."

Wherever they're going, it sounds like a cool place to be!

I'm willing to lay money on it that this guy knows 2legs!

Overheard in passing:

They have a table-football table in a break-out area at work, and they recently held a mixed tournament. I was walking past the room when I heard a guy say to his partner, "Look, just stick your legs in the air and I'll do the rest".

He is clearly a rural type going cross country to spend a week with his equally rural friends or relatives who are interested in raising a few sheep or two, trying to help out a trombonist who needs to get from a certain A to B. It's an everyday request in some parts .

Possibly a country fair or a Wallace & Gromit type escapade?

And I thought my granddaddy was the only one who transported livestock in his sedan.
