What a week...

Warning: I will be moody this week.
I wrecked my feet so thoroughly on the long march last weekend that I still can't wear shoes. I'm getting annoyed at the way the repair (or replacement) of my laptop was botched - the new one's just not fit for purpose. I have to do tour guiding for two coach trips tomorrow on routes I've never done, and go meet with a prospective landlord in the evening to find out whether I have a place to stay - I start Uni in Belfast next week.
And of course the real biggie is the fact that my father was just taken straight from his doctor's appointment to a palliative care unit at the hospital. We knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier (or less confusing.)
The one I really feel sorry for is my sister, who's the one on the ground dealing with all this. She's in the middle of moving house as well, and on top of everything else, her father-in-law was just found dead in his flat less than a week ago... And he really was one of the good guys.
What a week...

Good grief, Mala,
That's a tragic sequence of events. I really hope things can sort themselves out soon - you must be mentally exhausted already.

Heaven's above Mala!
That's an awful amount of stress for you and especially your sister. I am very sorry to hear about it.
I hope at the very least you find a nice place to stay so that you have a new home.
Thinking of you

Our family is truly going through an awful time right now.
This is who we just lost - a nicer man you could never hope to meet.

I'm sorry things have been tumbling down on you, Mala.
Yarreau, what a wonderful man. Maybe Mala will consider writing a Guide Entry about him, when she's more settled

Gosh Mala, that puts my battle with documents in perspective!
I *really* hope you'll find a place to stay in belfast, that would be a much needed silver linen.

Well, what doesn't kill strenghtens... (rough translation of old proverb from the Far North)
I do hope that housing trouble sorts out, and that there will be proper time for mourning.
What a week...
