Hi there!
This seems like a great idea for an entry, but I think it would need a bit more depth before it's ready for the Edited Guide. What else can you tell us about wind/kite surfing in this area? Do lots of people go there? What is the surf like? What about the beach? What time of year is the best? Are there any places where people can get lessons or the like?

Regarding your mention of car parking: I think it's only fair to warn potential grockles that there's not a hope in hell of getting a parking space in summer unless you arrive at the crack of dawn!
Also should point out the vicious currents around the harbour entrance - seem to remember a boat getting sucked under the chain ferry last year.

Under NO cicumstances wind-surf or swin either side of the ferry, the undertow is lethal. Also note that Brownsea Island is owned by The National Trust and you cannot wind-surf off the island.
If you want to park on the peninsula - arrive before 08:00.
