This weekend just gone was absolutely superb. Really, one of the best I've ever had.
Br Evadne Cake's party was great (well, the party wasn't that great but the sitting around until the early hours with booze and good company was super.)
The thing that was really great was my two worlds colliding: Br Cake and Br 2legs meeting Liftliker, and myself spending a fair whack of time in Liftliker's company in a pub again made this one of the most wonderful weekends of my life.
A huge to all three of ya'.

Yeah, but you missed a Court date for it ....... Dog the Bounty Hunter will be with you before the week is out.
Glad you lot had a super time and didn't let us losers sitting at home spoil it for you.

Well, if you left the lure of the Sisters and joined the splendour of Da' Bruvver'ood you too could have weekends like this!
What is this 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' of which you speak?

Oh I have great weekends anyhow, I don't begrudge you your fun. The bruvver'ood is a different matter now ..... plans are afoot.
Oh ... and before I forget .... watch out!! http://www.dogthebountyhunter.com/

Oh lordy, Mr Dog appears to think it's 1985. What is it? Why is it known to people outside Texas?

That's a tad coincidental as it is the Liftliker mentioned in this very thread that first introduced me to the splendour of XTC.

Roymondo ... nowadays some people have loads of tv channels and the Dawg appears regularly on at least three of them.

I have Virgin going on and have thus far managed to avoid, ahem, 'The Dawg'.
What is he? Why is he? Why is he stuck in the world of mid-80s rock?

Was indeed a good weekend if a little tireing post the drinking bits that train journey seemed about four or six and a half times longer on the way back

I think he's on virgin .... he's definitely on bravo.
..... they're bondsmen and catch criminals on the Hawiian Islands what could be nicer.

Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Posted Nov 13, 2007
So he's actually a bounty hunter?
Two worlds collide
Fizzymouse- no place like home Posted Nov 13, 2007
Yeah, it's one of those *reality* programmes where the camera goes out with them to catch the crims .... but he doesn't carry a gun - just mace, on the basis that if you carry a gun you may use it.
My kid loves it, and it's educational for her .... she can see the evils of drug abuse and what it leads to.

*on soap box*
Ah, television that profits from others' misfortune while simultaneously trivialising and sensationalising (how do they do that?) important issues. No thanks!
*/off soap box*
What would happen if 'Dog the Twix Licker' was locked in a room with Jeremy 'Satan' Kyle?
*That* would be worth watching.
Two worlds collide
Fizzymouse- no place like home Posted Nov 13, 2007
I seriously doubt if any of it's *worth* watching, but the dawg's been in the clink himself, his son is still in for drugs offences and his daughter died at the wheel ... also using drugs. He does try to help with rehabilitation so I don't think he's the worst out there.
Since we don't watch the soaps or anything like that I figure it's better than Hanna Montana.

Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Posted Nov 13, 2007
OK, what the hell is a Hanna Montana? Surely you're making this up as you go along!
Two worlds collide
Fizzymouse- no place like home Posted Nov 13, 2007
Hanna Montana is the stage name of Miley Cyrus who is the singing, dancing 15 yo daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus (Achy Breaky Heart) and they appear together in a Disney comedy show - you have to get yourself a kid Roymondo .... the viewing options are tremendous.

You just made me believe in the Christian God for without a God there can be no Hell, and you certainly just described Hell.
