A couple of nights ago I accused ST of flaming me. He hasn't, and never has. I was drunk, wrong and completely out of order. ST wouldn't do that, and hasn't done that.

I'm sorry ST. Please don't leave here over this: too many people would miss you (myself included).

Not deliberately, no, but I'm appalled at what I wrote. Tried to hide a bit of down-in-the-dumps with a bottle and ended up talking all sorts of nonsense. Not good.

I meant that some of the conversations you were having with ST in our journal were nothing to what has been going on in here.

Has anyone managed to contact ST? I sent him a text earlier; but got no reply and I don't appear to have his e-mail addy. I e-mailed the Prof and suggested he might contact him; but can't get onto Yahoo to see if I got a reply.

He emailed me earlier, and we've exchanged a couple since. I don't know if he's coming back, but I've asked him to and hope he does. I made a right of myself here and really don't want ST or his friends to suffer from it.

Oh Roymondo, you and ST will be fine I'm sure, he doesn't strike me as one to hold a grudge.


What's a few cross words between friends anyhow - if you can't have words with your mates who can you squabble with.

Cross words are one thing, a drunken pillock accusing someone of something they haven't done is something else.

I know he's been going through a rough'n recently and the last thing he needed was someone on h2g2 giving him unnecessary and unfounded grief.

I'm not going to feel comfortable here until he's back.

Well, you've probably done all you can, and I'm sure he'll come back when he's feeling more like himself.ST
