The packing: so far I have packed clothes, assorted paperwork, CDs, DVDs, a multitude of instruction manuals and a few smutty magazines. This leaves the majority of the DVDs, all the instruments (though they don't really take much packing) and the 'technology array' with its associated cabling catastrophe.

In honour of the aforementioned song I am wearing a purple t-shirt which I didn't know I owned until about two hours ago.

Clothes done (most of them were packed on Saturday by virtue of me leaving them in the bag after coming back from the laundry), I no longer own any pans & stuff (the last of 'em vanished two moves ago) but will be nicking some of CUP's cast offs, food will be purchased when I get there, various electrical stuff is pretty much just the aforementioned 'technology array' so will be sorted at the last possible moment: a mass yanking of plugs from sockets etc. Not much point properly packing that stuff as I'm only moving a couple of miles up the road.

My last two moves were *very* hurried affairs (the last was to avoid a physical confrontation becoming lethal) so most of the usual domestic clutter has been discarded on the way.
