I'm sitting here typing on the lappie which is on a little table 'twixt a little MIDI keyboard and the new PC with its nice 19" monitor and, joy of joys, running a fully functioning Cubase Studio 4, which is the badgers nadgers. The VST effects are still a tad ropey but the rest of it is a dream.
If anybody wants me I'll be making funny noises in the corner.
Ooh yeah: yep, I removed a couple of journals. Embarrassing drunken rantings they were.

It makes more sense now - it's actually quite a nifty way of organising things. Now, where have they gone and stuck the Peripatetic Perambulator?

The master sends, er, send things to effects (echo and the like) to make everything sound cool.
My bass playing really is rubbish - my timing's pathetic.

I just cheated - there's a button in Cubase that shifts your notes around a bit so it sounds better. I pressed it. It sounds better. But I feel cheap.
