I regularly forget just how great Spaced is. Fortunately my departed friend Daniel leant me the box set before he departed (there are stains on the box from where he spilled amphetamine prior to shooting it: silly, lovely, very much missed young lad) so I can remind myself of how good it was regularly.
Anyway: Series 1 (not season: this is a TV programme, not Butlins) episode 6. Hand up all those who know someone just like that dealer/courier. Hands up all those that have boogied to the beat of domestic appliances in the manner of the courier.
Hand up.
Hand up.

Can't say I've met someone just like Tyres, although there's time yet.
I have met someone who looks and sounds just like Marsha. She works at Salford branch. Scary.

At three points in my life I've known three different people like Tyres but that probably says something about my lifestyle!

Was one of them involved in The Radiator Incident?
Did another one sit for hours in the attic, playing Alien Breed on the Amiga?
No thoughts on the third...

Actually, I hadn't considered the radiator chap, but now you come to mention it...
The chap in the Amiga'd attic, a certain funky/jazzy/rocky bass player with a Kyuss addiction, and a chap I knew in Canterbury were the three I had in mind.
Key: Complain about this post
