Hello All!

Just wanted to drop by and say hello. I'm Paully, one of the staff working on h2g2. I wanted to draw your attention to a posting made by my boss Natalie on the thread 'Hello and Welcome'. It'd be great if you popped over there and read it, but essentially, we just wanted to clarify a couple of things.

First of all, it's lovely to have you here. Secondly, we needed to let you know that as h2g2 operates in a different moderation model to the Celebdaq/Sportsdaq system, we unfortunately cannot allow ANY discussion of celebs or sports stars in the way in which you're probably used to. That's because posts on h2g2 are automatically uploaded to the site without having to be approved by a moderator - a privilege that our community here fought long and hard for for many years.

We're delighted if you lovely people want to use h2g2 as a home for your community, but I'm afraid that we simply aren't able to allow this place to become another Celebdaq or Sportsdaq.
