Welcome! Putting up a homepage is a great start but if you put a bit more about you and your hobbies and stuff people will stop by and talk to you about them. Also, get involved with some of the 'ask h2g2 community' stuff where everyone will get to know your name.

Morning all, and a Merry festive season to all, both new and old. Anyhoo, having got that out of the way, how are we all, get anything nice for Christmas?

Christmas, was there soemthing... ~thinking hard~ yeah, as a Mom it's all about organizing. Was a good one, trying to balance out the old world Christmas culture with the New world's. We Germans celebrate the 12 days of Christmas rather starting end of November. How was your Christmas, got some nice Chrissie pressies? (Sorry for that but you got to adjust to the lingo.)

Oh, you know, the usual, smelly stuff, Dr. Who and unusual books.

The obligatory smelly stuff a bloke gets every Christmas; Deodourant (however you spell that), Shower Gel and the such like. You don't think it might be a subtle hint on my cleanliness do you?

No I don't, it's a matter of fact that it is not easy to find a good gift for a bloke. Most things you desire are way too expensive, or simply not available. We females are much easier with our need for new accessories ...
