Can someone remove the superfluous apostrophe in the sentence at the top of the google group. Don't want people thinking we can't do grammar eh

Note that people can uncover your email address if you post in Google Groups.
If you are not willing to let this happen, please either set up a "throwaway" address or one that does not reflect you identity.

god I hate google, just tried to get a throw-away address on gmail, they want my phone number to verify it, I'm not *that* stupid...

Google have never asked me for my phone number. I'm not sure how trustworthy they are, but I'd trust them more than I would Facebook.
