I agree that Ben Elton doesn't exactly act as a selling point, lol. I've read one of his books- that was about three too many.

Buuuut... I have seen a couple of televised performances by the We Will Rock You cast, and I have to say that they were pretty good. Yes, even the main singer- a most worthy tribute to Freddie, I thought.

And I've just bought tickets to the Brixton gig on the new tour. Woooooo!

Isn't Brian May on record as having said that he himself wouldn't go and see it as he doesn't like the musical genre very much?
Quite happy to take the money though (and why not of course?).

I've heard that it's both crap and good, it depends on who you ask. Can't see it as being to my tastes though and frankly if I want to hear Queen I'll stick a CD on my stereo and listen to the real thing thankyou very much

Well, been at the show in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
And to put this discussion to an end................it absolutely rocked the roof off.........it kicked ass.
As far as I'm concerned you can call them the bouncin' Telletubbies, I don't care.
Important is that they know how to put on a great show. They were on fire.......
