Will you be wearing something Red this Friday and every Friday from now on in remembrance of English troops abroad?

No. I object to being forced to show whether I care.

No, because this "Red Friday" nonsense is an American viral e-mail campaign adapted to the UK by the simple expedient of changing "American" to "English". Anybody breathtakingly arrogant enough to support "English" troops in the British Army is insulting the Scots, Irish, Welsh, Fijian, Gurkhas etc and deserves a slap.

I've not even heard of this campaign, but the answer would still be no.

As Icy said - we already have Rememberance day, which provides funds for injured soldiers not to mention for widows and orphans.
Besides which, there's a difference between supporting soldiers and supporting their deployment. We didn't want your stinkin' war. But the poor bloody infantry? Yep. I support them.

Um, no. There's a reason Germany didn't join this war. And wearing red won't actually help those soldiers, will it? It will just make people think you agree with the war.
