h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm not a member of ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha, the official HHGG fan club.

However, I did read something somewhere recently about their magazine, and what was in it. Apparently, there was an article about "The Big Read". It hinted darkly that the article would reveal "what really went down on the night", implying that there was something dodgy going on.

Can anyone, preferably a ZZ9 member who has actually read the magazine, shed any light on this?

There must, surely, be SOMEBODY on this site who is a member of ZZ9? Or at least knows someone who is?

They're the ones who seem to be a bit more obsessed with the works of the Great Man, as opposed to his ideas, which this site tries to embody.

I'm not sure I'd know how to contact them, I'm afraid. Any hints?

I was a member an eternity ago. I even went to a meet, the propietor then was one Noel Collyer. Wouldn't have a clue now.

I'm still holding out the hope that someone who actually got that issue of "Mostly Harmless" can simply tell me what the hint was on about. I think I read it (the hint) in SFX magazine.
