This reminds me of the time when... *said in a creaky voice*
...my mouse at w*rk didn't work for 10 (w*rk) days!
Somehow, somewhere, in some file, my computer failed to found the mouse, and it took the 
s 2 weeks to find the fault!
That's why I mostly use keyboard commands today - I *had* to learn all the shortcut keys!

At least you're prepared should it happen again... 
In three hours I only learned a few new keyboard shortcuts
