h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have known this person for a few months now, since the first few days of Uni, and she likes so much of the stuff I like. Imagine my joy when, after I sent her a link to one of my Entries, she revealed she was a researcher too, and we had actually conversed online before meeting. Then imagine my horror as she revealed herself as the bane of most people everywhere, a Th*ngite!

She's never attempted to convert me, on any subject, so I have not tried to convert her, on any subject. But she get's what she's given if she comes round for tea. But a few days ago she was talking to an individual that she had spoken of before, but this was the first time I'd seen him, and was hoping he would come down on one side or the other of the argument. She took his response as a draw, but I took it as a win: "You should be able to call days whatever you want [she liked this] but no-one will understand you [I prefer this]."

If she keeps this up, what should I do?
