The URL structure of the beta site is a bit different. Is that change permanent, or is it just for the beta? And if it is permanent, will old URLs still work or redirect?
<./>Askh2g2</.> seems to have become <./>ask_h2g2</.> and the conversations have URLs which include the A-numbers of their parent entries.

Yes we'll be keeping that URL structure for the new site but everything will be redirected
