h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

All I can say is that I love it. It's so much easier to natigate, and less clucky, it's although it just invites you in. It even seems that the help pages are up to date as well.

Wonderful.

I hope that this ensures that H2G2 stays fresh and relvant, and that we keep going as a viberant community.

Although this has completely ruined my working afternoon. It's the most exciting thing that has happened here for *years*.

Speaking as someone who was very ***VERY** apprehensive about change, I am pleasantly surprised. Especially with the dolphin etc - will all those DNA references remain?

I hope that the frames will still be visible when it's up and running. - having the conversations spread right across the screen and no summary of the conversation on the left is most disconcerting. (I'm still shaking at the shock)

Formatting will need quite a bit of tweaking, but I expect that's all planned, anyway. On my space, I noticed a sudden change of font colour and style for no apparent reason right in the middle of a paragraph. Most odd.

Yeah, my fonts are tiny on my Space. But it's only in Beta, I'm pretty sure there is lots of work left to do by Damnyoureyes and his team.

I like the dolphins too. They're pleasent enough that a non-fan will like them, and make the fans squee a little bit. Much as this shouldn't be a DNA fansite it's nice to have a bit of harmless reference every now and then.

I totally agree with what everyone else has said. It is BY FAR easier to navigate, is easier on the eye and easier for newbies, like myself, to get going. I LOVE IT.
