I was military, and lived in a number of parts of Canada. But now, I'm settled in to southern Ontario.
How's about you? I knew no UK geography before I landed in h2g2, but have learned a lot of it since...

i havent got a clue much about canada only know a couple of places but wouldnt know where they r in ur country
well im in bristol which is in the southwest of england plus i not too far from the welsh capital city of cardiff just over the bridge to get there, does that make it clear where i am lol

I've got a general idea now. I've two friends on here that live and work the Cardiff area. From what I've heard, that side of the UK-world is quite historic and lovely.

Hmmm, ya know, the Roman baths were considered the height of luxury. But I don't think I'd much like them. It was bad enough having to shower with 10 or 20 men at a time when I was in our military. But to lazily soak with them?

yeah that reminds me of my school days having to shower with aload thats probably why i didnt like to do sports lol
i think at the moment in bath theres a spa project where they r trying to open the roman baths again or build a spa, im not sure all i know they r having trouble with it

Indeed, it went very nicely. I had a 10-day stretch away from work, went nowhere, and generally enjoyed a rest. "Santa" treated milady and myself well, the tribe (daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandkids) had a wonderful season as well.
How's about you? A nice enough time, with some family and tonnes more food than anyone really needs?

Yes, isn't it odd ... How much panic and mayhem goes into the preparing for the holiday season. And then poof !!! it's over and done. And yet we do it every year.
