Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear }

It's only every few years that I actually get away. Elsewise, a week off now and then to assist someone with something, or a major house project. So it's a treat to go somewhere, anywhere.

In fact, September '07, we'll be in the UK for the first time. Our gift to ourselves for our 20th anniversary.

ANyway, take care of you. And don't be shy with e-mails. smiley - smiley

So far, it looks like London and Essex areas, Cardiff, and over to Dublin as well. If time allows, perhaps a day trip up to Manchester. I've friends scattered all over that little part of the world. Far too many to see in only a couple of weeks. smiley - sadface

Well, it WILL be a once-in-a-lifetime thingie for us. So we want to make it a good trip, without over-load. I hope that a little bit of 3 or 4 distinctive 'regions' should be a nice taste. smiley - smiley

How'd your week-end go? Ours was again hidden by walls of rain. smiley - sadface

I have today and tomorrow assured as sunny and warm. SO today, I again have to attack a rampant growth, and try to make a lawn of it. smiley - laugh

I knew I should have paved everything, and just painted it green. smiley - rofl

I have given thought to buying a few goats, ... but they never know enough when to stop eating. Grass, flowers, cars, children, ... It gets to be a real nuisance. smiley - laugh

what kind of goats do you have over there lol and they would leave stuff behind aswell lol smiley - smiley

It may be an exaggeration, but goats are commonly assumed to be rather stupid and WILL try to eat anything smaller than themselves. As long as it doesn't move. smiley - laugh

As to the natural leavings, ... well, ... I'd have some very richly growing spots and bits of grass, wouldn't I? smiley - winkeye

Many of my relatives and home area were farmers. So I have met many pigs, cows, horses, goats, sheep, poultry, ... It amazes my wife that I can identify a farm as we drive past, just from the 'aroma' of said leavings. She's a small-town girl. smiley - laugh

It's all what you become accustomed to as you grow, eh? I can hardly wait until the first time I can take my grand-kids to a farm. To see their reactions and wonderment.

Which is, btw, part of what my journal entry is about. smiley - winkeye

Gotta go now, my work day ends. I hope to see you here again soon, or on the hotmails. Take care, good Lady. smiley - smiley
