I really like Snow Patrol and I'm pleased to see an article on an album which I enjoy.
Few points....
memebers>>members
velvetty>>velvety
breakup>> break-up? break up?
blood, and>> no need for a comma
echoey>>nawww you can't have that! echoing maybe!
insitent>>insistent
a an >>an
anethmic>>is this a word?
singalong>>sing-along
paen>>paean
interpsersed>>interspersed
Your subheader at the very start needs to be just
because you shouldn't follow the title with a header.
Also you need to change all your " "s to ' 's
Perhaps a link to something about Franz Ferdinand?
Top 40 in November...>>There's a space between 40 and your footnote, giving the footnote to 'in'
Perhaps the song titles should have capital letters for eat word? So like 'How To Be Dead'
small label Jeepster to giants Polydor>> I think Jeepster and Polydor need ' 's
Looking forward to seeing this come along. Good work

Ok I've made most of those changes except for:
"anthemic" - I'm pretty sure this is an acceptable word (meaning anthem-like)
I deliberately put all the song and album titles with just one capital, rather than intial capitalise every single word. Is there a Guide standard on this?
I don't think that Jeepster and Polydor need an 's
And I'll try to hunt out a suitable Franz link.

What you actually put was 'anethmic' not 'anthemic'
and I didn't mean an s, I meant inverted commas sorry
And yes guide standard is either italics or capitals, depending on who gets it.

Reads pretty well to me. You could add (if you wanted) that before Final Straw, so-called side project The Reindeer Section was more successful than Snow Patrol, and that Lightbody was apparently going to abandon the band if they didn't have any success with the album. You could mention Lou Barlow - Lightbody has mentioned him in interviews - as a major influence on his vocal style and songwriting. But as I say, these are suggestions rather than things you *should* do.

You haven't put capitals on all the words in album titles. Also the Keane album is called "Hopes and Fears" not "Hope and Fears", a bit pernickity, i know!

Everything's changing....
Yeah I decided to Initial Capitalise all the song and album titles. Basically cause I hate "Final straw" with a small 's' and so the rest has to be consistent
Thanks for the useful comments, guys, keep 'em coming

Mums and Dads of the world be patient with your children - A quote that appears on everything produced by the band
...Except "One Hundred Things You Should Have Done In Bed", apparently. I can't find it.

You might want to put in a link or footnote explaining what the Mercury prize is, as strangely there isn't an EG entry on it.

>> Let's have a listen, shall we.... <<
An ellipsis (thank you, Ictoan! ) has three dots. However, this is also a question, so I'm not entirely sure how this should appear, but I'm coming up with:
Let's have a listen, shall we...?
You could reconsider the use of the ellipsis.

>> but Lightbody claims that it's his favourite, so there <<
Is this a direct quote? If so, I think it might read better as such. If not, I'd reconsider the use of the "so there". So there.
