There comes a point in every man's life where he has to step up to the mark. Summon his inner fortitude, and just do what needs to be done.
Yes, it's unavoidable. I'm going to grasp the nettle, take the bull by the horns, bite the bullet, talk the talk and walk the walk.
I'm going to stand up, be counted and go to the chippy.

I didn't do any counting, but I had chips with curry sauce for the first time for a couple of years. 
(The last time, I think I had grated cheese on top, into the bargain, but that's a calorie binge I wouldn't even be tempted by without walking miles first.
