Grrrr, desks. My sedentary job is beginning to tell. My leg muscles have been rather disappointing a couple of times lately. Not to be too dramatic: they haven't made me fall on the ground, or frozen me in one place, or anything - they've just got tired and sore too easily.

I'm going to start doing a lot more walking again. Well, I already do a lot of walking, but I mean a lot of *steep* walking. And maybe a little bit of strength training, too. I want to get these enormous big bones and consumers of oxygen and sugars earning their keep again. smiley - laugh

Try planting morning glory seeds along a long chain link fence. Up and down, bending, stretching, pulling a three-pronged cultivator, planting, dowsing the planted seeds with a watering can. It's quite a workout, and the mild Spring air makes one feel good.

Regular walking is said to benefit the body's circulation system, helping to push the blood from the lower extremities back to the heart. The few well-known centenarians that I can think of [George Burns, Rose Kennedy, etc.] all were known for long walks. The Queen Mother probably walked a lot, too.

smiley - rofl I have to admit the Queen Mother has never been a role model...for a whole lot of different reasons...smiley - laugh

2legs: yeah, maybe now's not the time yet, but you won't feel as awfully shitty as you do now, forever. You seem to bounce back like a tennis ball. smiley - winkeye

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I'm bouncing back hour to hour and day to day at the moment!; sadly, with the level of c bouncyness it is meaning I often tend to bounce back down quite low at times smiley - laughsmiley - boing - bearing in mind quite how ...... ungood I was feeling yesterday; was out today, for a good couple hours, most of which was walking (OK, it took in a cafe and a double expresso; just for medacinal purposes.... and the cake I had was merely to regulate blood sugars honstly......) smiley - snorksmiley - biggrin but.... like last night..... the idea I'd feel as bouncy as I have done today.... no way! smiley - boing - my plan of doing teh endochronologists job for them; and just re-organising my day a bit, to pretend I'm a hobit; and take in more like 4, 5 or 6 meals, rahter than my sueual 2, seems to be paying off; I've probably cut down total calory intake ( (rather than eating to feed my steroids), and I've balanced out my energy a bit better smiley - zen - mind..... I did have to .... think carefully about what to just have for... well I guess that was dinner really; I've a sneaking feeling that the dacardazine is trying to make me do this nausea thing.... - screw that... I'm not having anything to do with nausea thankyou very much smiley - laugh so I skipped anything too acidic or rich and just went plain..... with bacon..... pasta... salad and cheese smiley - zen followed by .... lord knows how many tablets smiley - laugh for dessert, and fruit juice, and tea again, in a moment smiley - zen Tomorrow probalby won't sadly involve much walking or exercise, but Sunday should be out; I think I'm due a Lush trip already again smiley - laughsmiley - snork talking og which.... must nearly be bath time smiley - drool ching? aching? what aching? I can't feel a thing smiley - zen
