Any guesses?

Maybe you've seen this news snippet.
"They've lost the run of themselves completely. They are getting so cheeky that they are even attacking young children and dispossessing them of their lollipops! The minister should look at this in an extremely serious manner."
Anyone want to guess which group this Irish senator was talking about?
Any guesses?

I'm guessing that we're not talking about a group of people here, thinking laterally, and also deducing that if it was people who were nicking kids' sweeties the language would have been far stronger and there'd be calls to 'string 'em up!!!'. I reckon it'll be either foxes or seagulls.
Any guesses?

Seagulls it is.
"I've nothing against pigeons, but I am very much against seagulls," he announced. His position on pied wagtails wasn't made clear.
They were going to abolish the senate last year, but I'm glad they didn't. It's delightfully bonkers.
Someone else moved a motion to put strict regulations on ice cream vans, for "aggressive sales practices".

It could have been Gibraltan monkeys. I reckon if you're five years old a seagull would be pretty frightening.
Sorta like in the Hitchcock film. -weren't they like seagulls?
Any guesses?

Brighton Seagulls are frightening no matter how big you are,
They are after your food

After seeing the seagulls like that in Scotland, I like our little black headed seagulls much better now. They're prettier and much quieter.

I've had ice-cream cones stolen by chickens...
they are not as innocent as they let on
someone near by here is feeding the birds bread... which causes huge clouds of circulating seagulls I wish they wouldn't
Any guesses?

Feeding birds bread isn't all that great for the birds, anyway. It fills them up, but doesn't have all the nutrients they need. It's a bit like us trying to live on Burger King fries.
Any guesses?

Bread is only bad for birds if it's the sliced white mass-produced kind. Wholegrain hand-crafted artisan breads are fine

I think we should enlist 2legs as a baker for birds. He could make little rolls for them, and we could sell them with a ridiculous mark-up in parks, nature reserves and Nationa Trust properties.

I spotted a ninja seagull eating someone's poke on Lladudno pier on Sunday!
