I've got my own wee personal twitter troll-y stalker-y fellow now.

"Troll" isn't the best metaphor, it's more like "geyser" or "volcano". It goes through a quiet cycle, and I forget he's there bubbling away underground, and then there's a periodic eruption, and he accuses me of all kinds of dastardly things like mind-control, chem-trails and ethnic cleansing.

If it was constant it would do my head in, I guess, and I'd have to block him. But as it is I sorta feel paternalistic, and want to take him to the vet for his wee inoculations and to sort out his wee matted coat and trim his claws.

Just don't let him know where you are.

And don't feed it after midnight

I think I'm cautious enough on twitter Elektra...it's probably clear enough what general area of the country I live in, but I think that's about all...

Hmmm... I think if a troll (Gosho was thinking of a gremlin) followed me, I'd probably not block him right away either. It's always an option, but I could also appreciated the entertainment value. I love watching how Ricky Gervais has so much fun with his many trolls on Twitter.

But the one you have seems like an extra special flavor of crazy.

You're half right, BG - I was thinking of a play on (some say mashup of) Gremlins and 'do not feed the troll'.

I have to admit, while the nonsense on Twitter didn't really bother me, it's unnerving to think that people like that are out there somewhere in the city roaming around. This place has enough normal psychopaths, without adding mentally unhinged psychopaths, too!
