h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have, possibly ever-so-slightly foolishly said I'd do this year's NaJoPoMo for November http://h2g2.com/forums/A148907/conversation/view/F19585/T8304660/page/1 * and then realised I didn't really use the journal for much (hence the bare white walls), and also had sort of lost where the buttons were on my PS now I'm no longer in Alabaster. So this isn't so much a post, more a test-run to check I still find all the controls It's a quiet day in the office. One colleague has just astonished the IT guy with the sheer antiquity and decrepitude of his laptop, most of the others are working from home or are off on leave. The hum of the road, occasionally punctuated by the grindings of the long-term road works is building up for the Friday afternoon peak, but I can only see it if I turn all the way to my left, in front of me are the horse-chesnuts, conkers ready to drop. A quiet Saurday planned before off down to London to see the American football/hand-egg/RISK with full contact and shoulder pads** match. I know the phrase 'on any given Sunday' is often used as to how this sport can throw up surprises at the best of times, but if you'd told me when they announced the match-ups that the Steelers & Vikings would be a combined 0-6, I wouldn't have believed you. In fact I didn't - I bought the tickets . Ah hey. Here's to putting a few more fittings and fixtures into my PS. *how do you do links in this thing? **depending on your point of view

Not sure if that is very clear- I can see your first post in an old skin but not in Pliny

so it is not lost to everyone, You could switch skins, cut 'n' paste and take out the link and repost and then I think it would show in Pliny
