My understanding (not particularly informed as I'll freely admit) is that Lucas re arranged the plot so that it finished in Jedi. Origninally Jedi was going to be episode 9 but he decided not to do that.
>Also, does anyone find it annoying how "Episode 1" has stuck <
I think this is partly Lucas's fault. For a long while he didn't reveal the title so all the obsessive fannish types out there (a group that I don't necessarily exclude myself from) had to call it something when talking about it.

I must say, Zathras, that the fact that there was speculation upon the nieve belief that there was actually going to BE an episode 7, 8, much less 9, was not my arguement in the first place. I actually agree with you. Really. So. There we are then, wot?

Acting? Who said it will be bad? And why didn't you remember the ep 2 and 3? Actually you're right, the acting in EP1 wasn't good at all... But it's the mood you went to see it, right? At leas, I did.

I'm still kid... I'm not eighteen yet!!! For over a month...
Explosions are nice, but first Death Star exploded in a wrong way. It did it vertical. But I suppose they wanted it to differ from the explosion of Alderaan. Second Death Star exploded right.

7,8 and 9 exist only in graphic knovel and book form.
no acting.
there we are then.
(the death star SHOULD have exploded horizontaly, shouldn't it...?)

Arnold, Friget, Dwiezel and Strilla Posted Oct 15, 2000
Yes, it should have, but it didn't. All planets and large, round objects (e.g. Death Stars) should explode horizontally. Stupid Lucas.

Nope, but I haven't visited Star Wars -site lately. I suppose they are filming it at the moment in Tunisia. Wait a minute, there's a Star Wars -guru right next to me.
He said there's Christopher Lee as Darth Tyranys or something... Don't really know...
Have you?

I don't know. There wasn't anything on the official Star Wars -site but in Internet Movie Database Darth Tyranus was mentioned. Though I don't remember the address.
Christopher Lee is quite old (he's been in filmmaking for 52 years) so if you prefer older men sexy then, maybe he is. Or something...

Just wanted to point out that Lucas probably didn't intend Jedi to be the ninth one... seeing as it's entitled "Star Wars: Episode Six - The Return of the Jedi" Unless he changed his mind during production.

Hi, I'm the guru on the "right".
Best way (and I hope is the best way) to check information about the movies (like Star Wars) is to visit website www.imdb.com and type Episode II. I think that should do it. I have no clue about this Darth Tyranus, I only know that Cristopher Lee is a veteran actor with good taste on movies. Old is he? Yes, I think he is not going to show us acrobat skills with his age.
Good news is that there is no Leonardo...

I can't say I'd agree. Actually, to tell the truth I think he sucks. it isnät his fault, it's Lucas's. He shouldn't have killed Maul in the Episode I. I would have prefered the duel between Anakin and Maul. That would have been great fun.
But that doesn't really have anything to do with his sexiness... Well, you could say he's sexy...

Hi there. I read the backlog, and I wanted to know, jade, which graphic novels are eps 7,8 and 9?
Star Wars fact of the day. Lucas' main influence was Akira Kurosawa, a fantastic japanese director. Most of his characters are based on his films

Another Star Wars fact for the day... The look for Chewbacca was inspired by George Lucas' dog.
