A Conversation for 'Star Wars' - the Films
Episodes 7, 8, & 9?
Lord Falk LeGrey Posted Nov 1, 2000
As someone mentioned earlier the episodes 7, 8 and 9 would be Timothy Zahn's novels, at least I think so...

Uncle Heavy [sic] Posted Nov 1, 2000
Zahn's (excellent) novels are not eps 7 8 9. Lucas says that 7, * and 9 deal with the next generation of skywalkers, 20-50 years after Jedi.
Another Star Wars fact
The millenium falcon was a building in blade runner

Okay, we can say that Lucas's children will do the episode 7,8 and 9... Legacy of Lucas is Lucas himself.

Okay, look at this. I found it from www.rasalvatore.com (the author of black elf trilogy and Icewind Dale)
June 17, 2000 -- New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore will write an original novel based on the upcoming new Star Wars movie, Episode II, it was announced today by Gina Centrello, President and Publisher of Ballantine Books. The publication date of the book, which will be published in both hard and softcover by Ballantine's Del Rey division, will be announced at a later date. The new Star Wars film is scheduled to open in the summer of 2002. The new novel, which, like the Lucasfilm movie, is yet untitled, is based on the story by George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, and the screenplay by George Lucas and Jonathan Hales..
(Okay, this have nothing to do with 7,8 and 9 but no one wouldn't noticed it from elsewhere...)

I thought Chewbacca's look came from Jabba...? Oops. It was the other way around. Lucas first thought that Jabba would look like Chewbacca, hairy and stuff. But after all he was this slug we all have learned to love. Have we?

Bond, James Bond Posted Nov 5, 2000
Yes, Jabba was originally going to be a fat hairy guy. Lucas was planning on putting him in Episode 4 (A New Hope) which we all know from the re-release of Special Edition, but decided against it. Lucas originally planned to have William Hootkins (better known as the rebel pilot Jek Porkins) play Jabba, and the scene that we saw in the special edition was actually taped with Hootkins as opposed to the ugly green Hutt we all know and love.

William Hootkins? Is he a fat man? I have the video (Star Wars -trilogy re-release) where Lucas explains about the Jabba etc. There's this clip where Jabba's been acted (?) by some guy... So my question is: Was that guy William Hootkins?

Bond, James Bond Posted Nov 9, 2000
I believe that that is William Hootkins. I'm not positive... but I'm pretty close to positive. I have that same video, and I remember seeing that. You may be able to compare the faces to double check. Porkins was assigned to Red 6, in case you were wondering.

Double check...? I don't think so. If it's what i assume it is, then I suppose our video won't do it. They're 16 years old and they don't even recognise the year 2000. Did you know it's 1984 now?

Nonononono! Judgement Day has already been. It was in August 1999. At least according to TErminator 2. (The first one was better)
Actually, it wasn't. It'll be in August 1999. I can't remember the date.

What a h***? Anyway, machines would have won if they had used shovels?
Has anyone any idea where are Lucas and buddies filming at the moment? If they are filming at the moment... If not, then what are they doing?
