Just a few lines to explain that I don't really even have time for a quick at the moment - painting the kitchen is taking priority and it's large and fiddly. So! in case anyone thinks I have done a runner, I will play catchup at some point hopefully in the not to distant future.
Off to play second coat of ceiling now.

I've been painting the house too - it's taken months!
I hate ceilings - particularly Artex ones. If it's stippled, you end up covered with tiny white spots of paint all over you.
Good luck with it!

So that's where all the paint ends up from the bits you missed

Hope you don't do too much scorpio!!!
I remember my mother deciding to let us try out a new attachment for her cylinder vac many years ago!It was a spray paint "gun" for ceilings!
Everything was covered in a fine mist of white emulsion paint.....not the ceiing ,just everything else
well.they say what goes up must come down, don't they!!!

Scorpio I hope the painting is progressing well. I can't do that sort of thing ass the paint fumes make me ill, and PHM can't breath so our 'decor' is very simple and washable.

WS this paint is absolute it is made by 'worn on the head of the Monarch at the coronation' silk finish emulsion, virtually odourless (I too have asthma) does not (absolutely not) drip and we had never tried it before; but I shall certainly be using it again - 'cos now the kitchen is almost finished (still the glossing for SS to do), everywhere else looks sooooooooooooo drab
Must again as I haven't eaten yet and am ready for a snoozy
