h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*The hylian blade comes in low and hovers above the junked and rusted ships as Mihar opens his cockpit*

Casey get back into orbit and try and stay hidden, if I need you I'll radio.

*Mihar takes a small portable sensor unit with him and leaps from the hylian blade. landing amongst the junk he sets off towards the source of the signal as casey takes the hylian blade back into space*

*various Jawas root through junk*

*Mihar heads towards a large hill of scrap, from which the signal seems to be emanating*

*Jawas continue to rummage, one gets a small electric zap*

*Mihar reaches the hill, and faring the avalanche that could occur if he were to leap up it and dislodge some loose scrap, starts to climb it. After getting clear of th Jawas he uses the force to carefully lift some of the scrap from the top of the hill while at the same time steadying and securing the scrap underneath*

*As Mihar aproaches the top of the hill he is shocked to see that the hill appears to be hollow*

That can't be right, all the scrap on the outside would colapse down into the hole...

*Mihar awakes to find himself inside the hill. Looking up he can see a much larger hole than the one he made and realises that in his suprise he must have lessened his grip on the scrap and fallen into the hill. Looking at himself in the dim light from the hole he notices that one side of his suit is severly scorched*

What the?

*looking back up at the inside of the hill he notices ocasional blue flashes, like lightning and realises that what is holding the hill up must be a, albeit severly weakened, ship's shield. Turning to look at the ship generating the shield he gapes in awe*

Woah, now I gotta get me one of those, but first I better get out of here before the shields collapse completely

*so saying he force leaps up and through the hole in the shield which he had already created when he fell*

*Mihar makes his way to the comunication station*

*Mihar leads the way to the hill, stopping at the bottom*

*looks up the hill, obviously uncomfortable in the bulky protective suit*

So what exactly have you found young Jedi?

There's a whole up there, you see it?

*Mihar points towards the hole he created earlier and looks at Annat in the suit*

Might I sugest you try to leap up and into it?

*after saying this Mihar leaps, somersaulting in the air to land inside the hill*

*shakes his head and smiles*

Such showmanship is not befitting a Jedi Knight Mihar!

*effortlessly flips in after Mihar, somersaulting twice before executing a perfect landing*

Well what do we have here.....?

*Mihar produces a flare and ignites, the resultant ilumination displaying an Acclamator Transport ship with a large-ish hole in the side, but other than that apparently undamaged. The way the hull is splayed out at the hole indicates that it was created by an internal explosion*

*looks*

We're going to need to patch up that hole for a start. If we do a quick weld using one of these scrap bulkheads and have Kasey pilot it back to Yavin, Ancha will be able to make use of his expertise. Aside from that, I think the only setback will be powering the engines, and getting out of this cavern.

<*comes in and set up chair, umbrella and popcorn*

I need a beard like ming the merciless..>

We need to find a way inside too

*Mihar starts looking for an entry hatch*

*nods and starts unpacking the spot-welders, whilst looking for suitable material to form a makeshift bulkhead*
