Being married is weird, not least because suddenly you have in-laws. Kind of like Magrathea, "It's ok, but it smells a bit." Well, not smell actually, but not quite right either. Anyway, mine are visiting and, though they are quite nice, I really just want a little quiet and they are causing me to hostess - most awkward.
Still, family harmony is pretty vital and they came all the way from Canada via Iowa, so I feel some pity for them if nothing else.
Cat's in for a dental cleaning at the vet today too, also odd. Who knew cats even cared about their teeth? She insisted, though, so I really have no choice - you know how they are.
Back to work, today is a non-challenging day of catalog tweaking in DC. More of the same tomorrow.
