woo hoo first post!!!!
Now that's over. Other than needing a spellcheck it's good. I seem to remember the NZ government was arguing that only the immigration service should consider his human rights. I don't see that much as a defence for them though.

I always thought that the 'national magazine' article was pretty eye-popping - 'outski' comment and all that. Here's a link to it, if you don't already have it - it might be a good reference for people, as the Listener has done more than most to cover the issue in NZ:
