For demands of the Tibet Government In-Exile (TGIE)for a Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), one may go to www.huffingtonpost.com
search for article by Louise MacBain.
If these were/are not the demands of the TGIE, please clarify what
are its demands?
Or is it that Dalai Lama is TGIE?
Dalai Lama is all double talk - saying one thing (non-violence, compassion and human right) while his or the power behind him is
saying something else.
Dalai Lama as a spiritual and religious leader is to be revered. When
he is mixing politics with religion and using human right jargons
to hide his political agenda, it is deceit and hyprocrisy that is to
be condemned.
It isonly amatter of time that his mask of deceit will be unveiled.

>>China inherited the Tibet territory<<
Inherited?! From who? China and the Mongols weren't allies who traded territory. The Mongols *conquered* China and Tibet equally, along with most of Asia and a lot of Europe.
If China has a claim to everyone the Mongols conquered, why don't you claim Hungary, or Russia, or Iran, or the Koreas?
That claim is utterly ludicrous. Tibet and China were both conquered (incidentally, before the Mongol invasion, Tibet was a major power which received tribute from both China and the Indian states), and China recovered quicker and so went on to conquer Tibet.
>>many minorities accepted Chinese culture and joined this big, noble nation<<
And many dissented. And they were killed or tortured by the Chinese Army. Big? Yes. Noble? Not by a long a shot.
>Why CCP's remarks MUST be lies, while Dalai Lama's remarks MUST be truth<<
Because the CCP has been shown to be a liar and propagandist many, many times in the past, while the Dalai Lama has his remarks reported by hundreds of different sources, most of them reliable.
If you've grown up in China then I have some sympathy for you, because you probably have little idea what a truly free press is, and you've been the victim of intensive brainwashing. That sucks, it truly does, but you can't come on here and talk about things that you don't understand.
>>Dalai Lama's 'autonomy' is not the thing you think it be - his autonomy means all above 4 points including: cut neighboring princes' land into current Tibet and make his Tibet 1/4 of China's total land!!! And expel all Han Chinese out of Tibet's land!!! Isn't that kind of remarks be blamed too in you western world?<<
Give me a reference for this. Show me where he's quoted saying any of those things and I'll believe you.

So now we have to add to the list: Yunan, on top[ of Tibet, Xinjiang. Stevenlinbj has given good arguments against himself.
If he keeps going, we may discover that china is an empty shell of a great and noble nation created by a band of thugs and their conquered.
China may be the only country in existence that claims the territories of its conquerors of a bygone era.
Who knows, one of these days, they might claim the territories of the conquerors of their conquerors; that would be the whole world.

>> Inherited?! From who? China and the Mongols weren't allies who traded territory. The Mongols *conquered* China and Tibet equally, along with most of Asia and a lot of Europe.<<
OK, if you wanted to say 'inherit' is not a good word, then you can also say the Ming Dynasty (AD1300) 'invaded' Tibet and annexed it to China, so what? Didn't you Europeans invade American land and killed millions of native Indians? Do you want to give back the land to its original owner and get back to your Europe Home? If you cannot accept the reality based on correct history view, how can you justify yourselves? If you want to throw away the history why did you repeatedly say things in 1950?
>>If you've grown up in China then I have some sympathy for you, because you probably have little idea what a truly free press is, and you've been the victim of intensive brainwashing. That sucks, it truly does, but you can't come on here and talk about things that you don't understand.<<
Again your imagination defeated your rationality. I have been (working and traveling) in many places, USA, Europe, I fully know your culture. So I can view both Chinese & Western cultures from a higher level without bias. However, how many of you have ever been to China and watched by your own eyes into the life and culture here? Can you say you are not being misguided by your media and government?
>>China may be the only country in existence that claims the territories of its conquerors of a bygone era.<<
Again, if you can listen to me without your faces turning red, please justify yourself below:
1. UK invaded North Ireland, and killed most original Irish, now it is part of UK even if you hold a referendum on this issue, because there are more Scottish than Irish today
2. British & French occupied North America and killed native Indians, and never want to return to Europe, today the culture of native Indians are disappearing
3. Same thing with Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, too many stories, you white people had done too many noble bloody things around the world.
If you are nice enough and don't want to continue to claim sovereignty based on conquerors of a bygone era, you can pack up and get back to your European land right now.
Votes tell you can stay? It is the tool to hide your evil in history. If we had followed the dirty ways of you in killing native residents, we would have had more Han Chinese than Tibetans today in Tibet, voting result would have shown Tibetan people want to be within China.

>>Why choose just the Catholics? The vast majority of both sides, Protestant and Catholic, were born on the island of Ireland - doesn't make them all Irish? Or, alternatively, the majority of both are citizens of the United Kingdom so doesn't make sense to call none of them Irish?<<
because mostly Carholics is the native of ireland and mostly protestants are immigrants from Scottland and England.of course you can give your evidences for population accounting.
>>Hong Kong's money has helped fuel China's stratospheric growth - the CCP would be beyond stupid to undermine that. But still they have, by systematically taking apart HK's limited democracy and making it more like China.<<
soory, you government never gave them any moden rights such as your voting rights.our government will do.
>>It means 'broad Ocean' - it's a Mongolian term that was created in the 1300s when Tibet, alongside China, was under Mongolian dominion. It also highlights Tibet as the birthplace of Bon, an animistic religion that was prominent in Mongolia and southern Siberia before Buddhism became dominant.<<
yeah ,your said is right .but you must understand the first tittle used Dalai Lama was the third Dalai Lama named Suonajiaci(1543¡«1588),the first and second Dalai Lama were ratificated by future Dalai Lama. that time was Ming Dynasty whose territory including the part of Mongol and whole tibet. tibet is not alongside of China.
>>None of that is true, they are simply the lies spread by the CCP and its propagandists. He has said he would like autonomy within a democratic China. China would remain responsible for defense and foreign affairs.<
you say one word "lies",so please give me your truth what is the main contents of Dalai Lama's requests.we have remained responsible for defense and foreign affairs, but where are yours?
>>Again, lies. Tibet has been independent a number of times, a well recorded fact. Please, go take your lies elsewhere as no-one here believes them.<<
so again ,evidences?a number of times?from ?to ?? well recorded?why you believe that recorded is well? fact?where is fact?west medias?
>>Then you don't have free elections. That's fine, just don't call them elections and don't prentend that you are free, because you aren't.<<
yes,i have no rights to be a dirictive elections for our highest leader, but we will be more and more free just like your rree history.
>>t's not your choice. You don't have a choice. The CCP doesn't let you have one. It doesn't trust you, or care about what you actually want. If it was your choice you'd have an electoral system whereby you remove the CCP, or give them your overwhelming support. But you can't.<<
yes, that's is my choice.you don't understand CCP of China, you need deeply know our ccp when we talk about ccp with us. if i have rights to free vote, i will support ccp at lest for now. there may be lots of problems but ccp have really done well. you should open your eyes and minds to see the world of justice and objective.

>>because mostly Carholics is the native of ireland<<
What's your definition of native? The English and Scots both had large settlements in Ireland before the Reformation, before Catholic and Protestant existed as seperate ideologies.
>>soory, you government never gave them any moden rights such as your voting rights.our government will do<<
Your government hasn't. It has removed the few political rights that HK citizens had, as well as threatening their human rights (which, under the British, they had enshrined in law). If China is so good for HK, why has almost everyone who could leave before the handover, left?
>>where is fact?<<
In media you aren't allowed to read because they say some things your government dislikes. Such as the fact the Dalai Lama is a well-respected man of peace. If he's such a wannabe warlord, why was he given the Nobel Peace Prize?
>>yes,that's is my choice.<<
No, it isn't. I'm running out of ways to say this. You don't have a choice, you're not allowed one. Your government won't trust you with one. If you try to express an opinion the CCP doesn't like, you could go to jail, be tortured or just simply shot by the army. You don't have a choice, please stop claiming that you do.
>>if i have rights to free vote, i will support ccp at lest for now<<
But you don't have those rights. End of story.

>>What's your definition of native? The English and Scots both had large settlements in Ireland before the Reformation, before Catholic and Protestant existed as seperate ideologies.<<
sorry,my information showed that English and Sots invading into the Ireland ,there were mostly Catholics in the Ireland
>>Your government hasn't. It has removed the few political rights that HK citizens had, as well as threatening their human rights (which, under the British, they had enshrined in law). If China is so good for HK, why has almost everyone who could leave before the handover, left?<<
will, the timetable is out.i believe will.
>>

<<
sorry, there many publics were killed by thugs in Lhasa ,tibet of china.do you know that?
>>
No, it isn't. I'm running out of ways to say this. You don't have a choice, you're not allowed one. Your government won't trust you with one. it is the most largest problem between you and me to understand these rights such as voting tingts .i feel it is so difficulties that i talk about these things wiht you.
yeah, there were some political prisoners who broke our laws, but many people who express the different opinions with government are free.
>>But you don't have those rights. End of story.<<
i have choose do lots of things, why you believe i haven't, do you believe i must express the different opinions with government that will show i habe choices?ridiculous!
the hunan story never end, such as our developing tights never end.

>>sorry,my information showed that English and Sots invading into the Ireland ,there were mostly Catholics in the Ireland<<
Then your information is wrong. Now you've been corrected, I hope not to hear anything on the subject of Northern Ireland again.
>>will,the timetable is out.i believe will<<
I have no reason to trust your government so I beleive not. Got any suggestions on why all the emigration from HK before the transfer?
>>there many publics were killed by thugs in Lhasa<<
Yeah, but I believe those thugs prefer to be called the People's Liberation Army.
>>yeah, there were some political prisoners who broke our laws, but many people who express the different opinions with government are free<<
Not 'were' - are. Your government continues to jail, torture and murder dissidents. If you know that what you say might lead to you being jailed or killed, are you really free to say what you like?
And political prisoners themselves are an abomination in any decent society. A political "crime" doesn't hurt anyone.
>>do you believe i must express the different opinions with government that will show i habe choices<<
I believe that you must have the freedom to express that opinion if you wanted, and that you must be able to access any information you like, before you can make a choice. You have the right to do neither.

>>Then your information is wrong. Now you've been corrected, I hope not to hear anything on the subject of Northern Ireland again.
<<
sorry,i never said my information was wrong, because you didn't give me yours with data.
>>I have no reason to trust your government so I beleive not. Got any suggestions on why all the emigration from HK before the transfer?
<<
like you ,i also have no reason to trust your medias(government).i have the different information with you about HK.parhaps there were some people wanted to left, but mostly people chose to stay HK.
>>Yeah, but I believe those thugs prefer to be called the People's Liberation Army.<<
so ,again ,you gave me the evidences? this time i can understant why Germany medias and some other western medias could make lies so easy ,some western people could make a conclusion without any evidences just thinking.
>>Not 'were' - are. Your government continues to jail, torture and murder dissidents. If you know that what you say might lead to you being jailed or killed, are you really free to say what you like?<<
yeah,it is are, those broke law must be punished like those robbery touch.
yes ,i have said so many what i like that most ot them you cann't understant because of using Chinese language.
>>I believe that you must have the freedom to express that opinion if you wanted, and that you must be able to access any information you like, before you can make a choice. You have the right to do neither.<<
yes, that's right.so i'm doing mostly like you ecept voting the highest leader.
it is so difficult that we talk about such as human rights, Xizang and so on with some western people. the reason is obviously preconceptions and static thinking for some western people.
