Heya, thank you very much for signing up. I'll EVENTUALLY get you put on the list. I've got a huge backlog for that sorry.

I'm Kat, I run the Language Thing, so occasionally you might see me around as 'The Language Thing'. Feel free to drop by my PS and ask any questions you might have.

Currently we've got I think...TWO people learning French. Very poor I know but things have been a little slow recently. They'll be very very happy to know that you're here though! If you'd like to introduce yourself on the teaching thread and the speaking thread if you haven't already I'm sure that there will be someone around to talk to you.

Just as a reminder, any post HAS to have the English translation of it written as well. Anything that doesn't will be checked. I know it might seem a pain to have to write something out twice but I'm in charge of moderation here and it will be me banned if the language thing goes wrong

Looking forward to seeing you around being French. If you like we also have a thread set up from the main Language Thing page for English. It currently only has 3 people in it, with me running it but any questions about English, differences between American and English, slang, sentence structure etc can be asked there and I'll make sure I answer as clearly and simply as possible.
