I just heard on NPR that it was the biggest grossing film over the weekend, bringing in $27m in its first three days.

And the report mentioned 'Disney' and 'sequel' in a way (can't remember the exact words) that suggested to me it's a definite

Well, it was UK and US together, which is so much better than it used to be. The UK used to have to wait for all the redubbing and localisation to be done for the whole of Europe before we got a look in.

I went to go see the movie (for the second time) today ( Friday 6May) at 13.00 and there was a queue going around the corner of the building -in south Florida, and it was not pleasant being outside today.. by the time I got to the window to purchase a ticket, it was past the start time, and found out that the next showing was already sold out. So, it looks like the film is going to stay in the #1 spot for another weekend.

Autin, Texas, Friday night - the film's still selling out In fact they had to put it on two screens for the 10 o'clock show. Probably could have for the 7 o'clock too but there were other films that had tickets already sold for that theatre.

Sorry, I guess that should have read Austin, Texas, the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar.

I'm pleased it's selling out somewhere in the world - I went to see it on Monday (only a few days after release) and the screen wasn't even half full. - I'm in Milton Keynes, so big town, figured there'd be more bods out there to add the the queue.
