You can't judge a film on its teaser

I had no problems with the DivX. And believe me, my puter is bad!

For those that don't have the bandwidth to waste it goes a little like this.....

A fly past of the Earth with wonderful world playing in the background is followed by the Earth exploding.

Amongst the flying debris the words Don't Panic appear, followed by

"The most astonishing adventure in the universe begins........

when the world ends"

and all this morphs into the film logo

The second half is backed by dramatic orchestral music.

All very hollywood really, a tad overstated and lacking in any real content. The film itself better not be like that !!!!!!

I have yet to see anyone note the 42 that morphs from the stars in the background. A nice bone to throw the fans, if a bit contrived.

I have to admit it gives me a bit of hope that they are really at least attempting to bring some of the "in" jokes to the movie and marketing.

Personally I like it, apart from the over-dramatic music!!!

Couldn't get the whole trailer to load, but it looks much better than I hoped (I still have sad memories of the tv series....)
Good news as well that the UK gets to see the film before the US!
