I feel your pain

Ive been looking into linux, but have refrained for two reasons. the first is compatibility. EVERYTHING is for windows. second is size. i have a 1-gig per month download limit, and linux is somwhere around 3 gigs, though that would probably take me 3 months to download with my crappy connection speed. I do however use Firefox. Firefox is friggin awsemome.

I certainly agree for most people it would be wise to start using Linux on a second machine. The current installations 'require' as much resources as the MSX installations.

And in the mean time start getting to feel the idea by using 'free' software.

Now I am going to check what forum this discussion is taking place smiley - biggrin"
