Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

It was nice being Tony Curtis but as so few people were joining in I was starting to feel a little silly...

In other news: I have no problem with blokes wearing pink but DEAR GOD NO MY EYES THE BRIGHTNESS THE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BRIGHTNESS. Ahem.

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013

Why were you Tony Curtis this time? I couldn't work it out. Names are so confusing at the moment anyway - as a brunel user I only see part of the name anyway - has been like when everyone uses anagrams and you are never enitrely sure who you are responding to...

2legs suggested one last Tony Curtis before the handover. And only me and 2legs actually did it. The original Tony Curtis name change was a protest against some silly moderation decision I think.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

Ok.... on the 23rd hour, 59th minute, everyone changes there name to nighthoover... smiley - snorksmiley - silly

I think the idea this time was actually suggested to me... I kinda lost interest in it too, though, as it never really caught on .. smiley - doh

The origional (and some would say best), Tony Curtis event, occured when Croz had his name moderated, I.E., set back to researcher U...... as he'd mentioned, in passing, some famous person in his tag line... So, in protest, as it were, everyone on site, well, quite a lot, changed their name to Tony curtis, Sparticus or some such... smiley - huh
It did also happen another time, when a lot of people changed their name to nighthoover, including an italic nighthoover smiley - snorksmiley - silly Then, from time to time... for reasons I cannot remember, and which probably arn't important, the tony curtis en-block name change kept springing back up from time to time smiley - huhsmiley - weird

Baron Grim

Yep... I had no idea why this Tony Curtissing had started so I ignored it. And yea, with the nick-tags all barleyscrewed it's confusing enough as it is anyway. Even now I have no idea exactly what others are seeing on my name. I put in my settings, "Count Zero - AKA Baron Grim NSFM" but I see "Count Zero - AKA Baron Grim NSFM - Count Zero". I suspect that depending on the skin y'all are using you either see just "Count Zero" or "AKA Baron Grim NSFM". Something seriously broke when they fuddled with the tags.

I've tried to put my name in the suffix as well as the usual box, so those who see the site in Brunel have a hope of figuring out who I am. Alabaster sees only the 'normal' name, Brunel sees only the suffix part that you can amend in Barlesque. I'm not sure about Goo users. smiley - erm

Another thing Pastey gets to fix!

In Brunel you only see the h2g2 suffix. In plain you see only the BBCiD. In Barleyskew you see both. Dunno how it works in Goo or Alabaster.
