I don't know about this one Mr. D. Some people actually do much better living alone than others. So we are different in the way we react to situations. Whether it is learned behavior or could possibly be influenced by genetics is questionable. Haven't they decided that nearly everything is a combination of the two?

It just annoys me that genetics is the new black at the moment, it seems that they want us to believe that *everything* is a result of genetics.

I'm with you on this one... bollocks.
This is a subject I know something about. A genetic tendency for depression I can understand but I'll put loneliness more in the nurture over nature category.
