COMING HOME FOR EASTER!
essjaybee Started conversation Apr 3, 2004
I have managed to get a flight home for Easter which takes me via Vienna on the way home and Munich on the way back.... Can someone let me know if the buds are blooming, are the snowdrops, croci and blubells out yet and does home look pretty? It's a brief 40 hour trip but I am so looking forward to it. It seems like aeons since I saw my little rubic-cube house and my mum and walked down a street that didn't pose a threat to every bone in my lower limbs! Can someone let the Easter Bunny know that I am coming back and he mustn't miss me out!!

What great news, Sallie. It will be lovely for you and your mum to catch-up. You have a wonderful relationship. She will be excited, too.
Will Tom be there, too? Hope so! I don't need to make a special room in CC for you, then
Our croci have finished but there are hundreds of other flowers in our garden in different shades of blue. Don't know what they are but they are very pretty and one of them smells lovely and the smell fills the house. We've still got some daffodils, too. The bees are starting to get busy and we even had a wasp of monster proportions in the house last week. Was watching the sun rise, as usual, this morning, and the birds were so loud they woke Darra up. She came to me and said she could hear an owl. I told her that it was a particularly vocal dove that disturbed her sleep.
I can never get tired of the feeling of the warmth of the sun on my face in Spring.
We are going to tidy our garden this afternoon, well at least make a start.
Enjoy your visit home. Knowing you I'm sure you'll make the most of every minute.
