In this modern day and age, we don't have to use about wax and feathers. The modern ICARUS wing system (Mark 17a) is composed of ceramic and polymer composites laced with carbon monofilament for added strength and durabilty. At 50% lighter and 1.038 x 10^1536 times less likely to melt in direct sunlight than the older ICARUS system, the 17a is a marvel of modern engineering. And it folds into a compact package for easy storage between the shoulder blades. Order now and recieve a copy of the legend of ICARUS in the original Greek.

I don't know the language, aside from the fact that it looks not at all like english and that it's popular among groups of college people who put it on their buildings and therefore feel they have the right to throw loud parties and harass young women, but the mythology was a hobby of mine a while back. Also, I was at one point going to be an engineering major.

Well!!! It sounds like Icarus is the perfect nomme de plume for you!!! smiley - smiley

...What about college toga parties!?? And what about the Greek words put on American currency!?? Do consumers in the states get to harrass women because we have Greek on our money!?? LOL...

Are you familar with a painting about Icarus!?? I know there is ONE, at least... very famous... hermmm... smiley - smiley

"E pluribus unum" and so forth? That's Latin. I don't think there's any Greek, but then again I could be wrong. In any case many consumers harass women anyway, regardless of whether or not they've got any Greek letters lying about. At least they do if there happens to be alcohol or sporting goods within a few miles. Generally their wives or girlfriends yell at them afterwards, but it's still rude. And I don't know about the painting.

Hahhaahaa.. it's purdy, and it's an ocean... I want to say it was done by someone around Vincent Van Gogh's time, but... it could've been around the 1860's... and could've been an American artist... pretty sad, eh!?? smiley - tongueout

I think it's called "The Fall or Icarus"... or the Fate of Icarus!?? I dunno...

And... are you familiar with a Nintendo character named Icarus!?? he had spikey red hair, and I think he wore a toga... smiley - tongueout

Kid Icarus. Never played it, but I understand the bosses were very hard. Red hair you say? Mine's not spikey, but it's the right color. No toga though.
