Not really! Quite bored really, however its my last one tonight until Monday so I'll last it out! Whats it like taking 118 calls then? Get a lot of drunks on the phone?

awwwwwwwwww poor you I'll try and keep you amused if I can

We get drunks, wierdos, pervs and just plain nutters

We get sworn at and shouted at and generally abused sometimes but we do have a cut off button

funny, sounds familiar that! done this now for years so we just hit mute and laugh! most of it goes over my head! there ranting and raving and im pretty much sitting in my chair looking at a magazine with my feet up!

we do that too or we put the phone on loudspeaker and let everyone listen in

Also get propositioned and asked to perform things that I cant mention here Certainly cant have a delicate nature to work here!

We used to have a regular caller who we used to call the flip flop man. He would only speak to women though! Apparantley he used to constantly ask if you could hear his flip flops when he tapped his feet on the floor and just talk real camp etc! strange bloke! Apparantley he now calls the RAC! Then theres the bomb threats! All good fun! Theres some STRANGE people out there!

I've taken a call and been asked if I'm on the game cos he's got £10 to spare Wont tell you what I wanted to say to him

Your right - there's some very peculiar people out there and they seem to crawl out of the woodwork between midnight and 5 in the morning

So what exactly do you do? Do you just answer the phones and send breakdown units to stranded motorists?

pretty much amongst other stuff. we do all the police work too! you know, stolen cars, used in crime, rta's! its a much better atmosphere at night though! too much polotics in the day
