Somehow this fails to convey the imagery of Portugal they were selling in the brochure I read.

It was only a shower. All the rain from the thunderstorms seem to have missed us.
Hopefully it will really get raining in November (when most of this area goes on holiday! Everything closes down and we suffer from torrential drizzle. This is special drizzle, like English drizzle, but wetter!
Meanwhile we are still watering the green patch every day.
The larger of the two youngsters was extremely startled by her first experience with close thunder and completely wrecked one of the 5-bar gates!
