Once I thought I could play the game..

...Then I found...
The game isn't the same
as when I was a lass,
playing rounders upon the grass.


When people...
drifted away to find
a place of their own, lined
with grass cuttings, when,
they could kiss and canoodle in a den.


It was....
a laugh and a giggle,
as we began to fiddle.
It was fun until....
I heard Dad shouting "Lil"


Then we...
hurried and quickly started
to tidy ourselves before we parted.
He said "Good Game"
I blushed as I thought the same.

...and so....
the years pass by.
Occasionally my eye
will light upon Bill
and still he utters "Good Game Lil"

its not a bad addiction especially when you are as good at it as you are lil.

*giggles*

mmmmm! a roll in the grass, I wonder how long its been there, I'm starving

Oh well... it has been posted now..

I try stay away from poetry...
I've tried my hand at it sometimes, but people usually end up chasing me with pitchforks...
I think I have some Vogon in my blood!

Lauda, that is brand of car from easter Europe..oh no, that is lada

I tried to write some poetry one time,
But I just kept finding I coulnd't make anythign rhyme,
So it all came out like some awful crime,
and I kept forgetting the bits of paper I'd written on and they all got covered in grime,
But then I found I had a tallent for allways making the last line rhyme perfecly with every line immediatley proceding it, and making the whole thing scan almost perfectly well.

Oooo rolling in teh grass, can I play?
