Hi Kermit - The Channell Islands are a place close to my heart, though I've not been to Jersey for some years. My time as a waiter and cocktail barman date back to the end of the 70's. thats a quarter of a century.

One typo - its sail not sale in the bit about Condor ferries.

Jersey also used to ban mobile homes (caravans) they were not allowed on the island, which put off a lot of people who would have been potential holiday makers, year after year.
