British Formula One star Lewis Hamilton has had his driving licence suspended for a month after being caught speeding on a French motorway.

Apparently Alonso has handed himself into police demanding the same treatment.

Alonso's toy's are airborne again, this time he's saying the racist abuse in Spain is Hamilton's fault

On a lighter note, there's another son-of-F1 starting a driving career.
Yes, hot on the heels of Piquet Jnr, Senna sort-of-Jnr, the Mansell Jnrs and Hunt Jnr, is...

Of course! It's his own fault for being black.

no, it's his own fault for making snide comments about Alonso. Schuey used to get nasty comments and taunts when in britain, Alonso got sworn at quite a bit when he won in Italy.
It happens, it shouldn't but it does. I actually remember people shouting lines from the Fawlty Towers episode 'The Germans' at Schuey
It's a darn site worse at an old firm game with the crap and abuse Gers fans hurl about. Not that the Celtic fans don't do the same, 'cause they do, it just seems that the Gers fans are worse. Oh and that's said as someone who's blue through 'n' through.

I'll stick up for Schumacher here - never thought I'd do this and it feels weird - but he took the taunts and didn't throw the dummy out of the pram like Alonso does. I used to like Alonso a lot but I now think he's just an immature little brat.
It will be interesting to see how he behaves now he's back at Renault

Jacques Villeneuve was like that too. and to a certain extent so is Kimi. If everything doesn't go how they want it to, or pretty close to it, then they get all stroppy. Jacques and Alonso get angry and Kimi sulks. Haven't really seen enough of Hamilton when it's all gone s up to really make too much of a judgement on him but from what I've seen he appears to be a bit more centered.
It'll be interesting to see how Heikki does at mac-merc as he has the potential to take points off Hamilton and big ron made it very clear last season that mac-merc will not take sides. Even if that's to the detriment of the team over all.

I'm quite looking forward to seeing how McLaren's season pans out. I hope that the FIA's involvement with the new car isn't too detrimental, but I think Lewis and Heiki will still be a strong team. I didn't really have that good a feeling about the Alonso/Hamilton partnership last year but this year feels a lot more right

Just tried to log in to itv.com's live streaming... ITV tell me that they are sorry, but rights restriction prevents them from displaying this content outside the UK. Oh, well, the tv screen is bigger anyway...

I wouldn't be surprised if Todt had Fernando signed up by the middle of last season. Remember they did the same with Kimi. They'll just ship Felipe out to one of the Ferrari customer teams.
